Derik and Leigh Anne Vett: Derik and Leigh Anne have served in the ministry since 1991 when they went on a mission team to Moscow, Russia. They met on the mission team, fell in love and were married 1 year later. They planted churches in St. Petersburg,Russia, Vladivostok, Russia, Minsk, Belarussia, Oslo, Norway and Reyjavik, Iceland. They lead the church in St. Petersburg for 2 1/2 years before leading the church in Stockholm, Sweden for 3 years. They love the mission field and stay actively involved with the Russian churches. After coming back from the mission field in 1997, they landed in Los Angeles for 4 years leading various ministries with the focus being campus and teen ministries. In 2001, they moved to Dallas and are currently leading the Dallas East Region of the church. They have 3 beautiful children, Haley, Joshua and Emma.

Bill and Sally Hooper: Bill and Sally were married in 1966 and have lived in Plano for since 1994. The first 20 years after Bill graduated from college was spent in aerospace engineering and the computer science field. In 1987, they felt God’s call to enter the full-time ministry and moved to Boston from Columbia, SC. In 1990, they moved to Los Angeles to serve in the early years of the church planting before moving to Dallas in 1992. They have three children and three children by marriage with nine wonderful, adorable, and talented grandchildren. Their son Dave and his wife Angela were married while serving in Moscow on the mission field. They lead the church in Austin, TX and have three daughters Stasya, Savannah, and Callia. Their daughter Leigh Anne and her husband Derik were also married while in Russia shortly after planting the St. Petersburg church and they now serve the DFW Church. They have two daughters, Haley and Emma, and grandson, Joshua. Their son Steve (A&M Aggie) and his wife Trish are in Fort Worth where he is the administrator for a nursing home. They have two daughters, Katianna and Allison, and grandson, Liam.

Will and Addy Garcia: Will and Addy grew up in Los Angeles. Will was baptized into Christ as a teen in Los Angeles in 1998 during his freshman year of High School. He was actively involved in the LA Teen Ministry, going on to attend Pepperdine University. Upon graduating Pepperdine University in 2005 with a Bachelors degree in Speech Communications, Will served an LA summer internship to be trained to serve the very teen ministry that had served him just a few short years ago. After the internship, Will took a secular job and continued serving the teen ministry as a volunteer teen leader over the next 5 years. Addy was brought to Christ and baptized as a junior at UCLA in 2007. The next year, they met and fell in love. Addy discovered her passion for the youth and began serving the LA teen ministry also. She went on to receive a Bachelors degree in Sociology in 2008 and a Masters in Education in 2010 from UCLA. Will and Addy were married in 2009. Together they have a strong passion for the Youth and Family Ministry and are grateful to serve the DFW Church.
